World Order Lab’s Executive Director Muhammad Izzuddin Al-Haq and Analyst Fransiscus Divo Marcellino Prasetia participated in the Indonesia model ASEAN Meeting (IDMAM) 2026, a hybrid program held on January 16-19, 2026, under the theme “Empowering Youth, Strengthening ASEAN.”

Divo led the Position Paper Training, preparing participants for the ASEAN meeting simulations, while Haqqi served as a speaker in the talkshow on "Youth as Peacebuilders: Strengthening ASEAN in a Changing World through Promoting Dialogue, Diplomacy, and Regional Stability.”

IDMAM is a youth-led diplomacy initiative that simulates the ASEAN Summit and its related bodies, providing participants with an immersive experience of ASEAN decision-making and regional cooperation. It is supported by the Mission of Japan to ASEAN and the ASEAN Foundation, in collaboration with World Order Lab and other partner institutions.

We value initiatives that empower young people through diplomacy, dialogue, and experiential learning, while providing youth with meaningful opportunities to engage with ASEAN processes, strengthen their understanding of regional cooperation, and develop the skills necessary to contribute to peace, stability, and the future of Southeast Asia.
