World Order Lab’s Analyst & Program Associate Yutathavy Chhoeun participated in the Fourth Phnom Penh Forum (PPF4) entitled "Multilateralism vs. Unilateralism: ASEAN’s Strategic Autonomy and Policy Choices," organized by the International Relations Institute of Cambodia under Royal Academy of Cambodia on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Amid profound shifts in the post–Cold War international order, the forum calls on ASEAN to uphold its strategic autonomy and unity through strengthened multilateralism, proactive engagement, and collective dialogue, ensuring that our region remains resilient, stable, and forward-looking in the face of intensifying great power competition.

World Order Lab extends its appreciation to the organizers and all speakers and participants for convening this timely forum on ASEAN’s strategic autonomy and policy choices. We value initiatives that promote multilateralism, ASEAN unity, strategic autonomy, and collective dialogue, while strengthening the region’s capacity to remain forward-looking amid intensifying great-power competition.
