World Order Lab's Program Manager & Chair of G-2 Affairs Working Group Geo Arshali, Analyst (Southeast Asia Desk) & Chair of Climate Action Working Group Muhamad Ferdy Firmansyah, and Graphic Designer Kezia Fidelia Sharon participated in the 27th AIPA Roadshow "Anchors of Unity, Bridges of the Future: Strengthening ASEAN Centrality in Navigating Global Challenges," held at House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia on July 23, 2026.
Held in conjunction with the 17th AIPA Caucus, the event aims to connect parliamentary discussions with a broader audience, fostering dialogue on ASEAN Centrality, parliamentary diplomacy, and other key regional issues.
The discussions highlighted the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP), the importance of ASEAN Centrality, and the role of AIPA and parliamentary diplomacy in translating regional commitments into national policies and legislation. Speakers also discussed how ASEAN manages its diversity through dialogue and consensus while responding to emerging challenges, including climate change, artificial intelligence, energy and food security, demographic shifts, and digital transformation.
The session further emphasized the importance of youth participation in ASEAN's future, encouraging the next generation to deepen their understanding of ASEAN institutions and contribute more actively to regional cooperation, parliamentary diplomacy, and ASEAN Community-building.
