[Event] World Order Lab’s Thoughtcraft Series on Global Affairs #1


To support young scholars and students in developing their ability to engage with political and international affairs through writing, World Order Lab is organizing a workshop entitled “Commentary Writing Workshop: Build Structured Arguments & Develop Critical Analysis.” This session is designed to equip participants with practical skills in writing commentary and op-eds, including how to identify relevant issues, structure clear and persuasive arguments, and communicate ideas effectively to a broader audience. The online workshop will also feature an interactive writing clinic, where World Order Lab's Analysts will present their draft pieces and receive direct feedback to strengthen their writing.

Venue: Online via Zoom Meeting
The workshop will feature Radityo Dharmaputra, Head of the Centre for European and Eurasian Studies at Universitas Airlangga. He is also a Lecturer in Russia-East European Studies and Foreign Policy Analysis at the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Airlangga, and a PhD Candidate at the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies, University of Tartu.
The session will be hosted by Muhammad Izzuddin Al Haq, Executive Director & Chair of Maritime Security Working Group at World Order Lab. It will be conducted in English and is open to World Order Lab members and the general public.
