World Order Lab Participates in the Training of Trainers Workshop on Women and Youth Leaders in Malaysia
World Order Lab’s Senior Video Editor & Program Assistant Nurul Shameen participated in the Training of Trainers Workshop "Strengthening Women and Youth Leaders in Malaysian Grassroots for Enhanced Participation in Inclusive Governance and Development Initiatives," organized by DHRRA Malaysia on October 10-12, 2025.
The workshop aimed to instill some basic skills needed to engage communities and advocate, stressing the need to understand Malaysian government structure and how people can engage with the government system to solve local issues. The study had important focus on the roles of federal and state agencies, the SDGs, and the parliamentary process to ensure transparency and accountability. Participants engaged in task-oriented workshops that helped them create advocacy plans and build communication skills, and they learned to become agents of effective, inclusive change in their communities and the society through civic engagement and cooperation.
World Order Lab extends its appreciation to DHRRA Malaysia and all facilitators, speakers, and participants for convening this timely workshop on strengthening women and youth leadership for inclusive governance and development. We value initiatives that build civic engagement, advocacy, and communication capacities, while equipping young people and community leaders with the knowledge and tools to engage effectively with government institutions, promote transparency and accountability, and advance inclusive change within their communities.
