Geo Dzakwan Arshali is Program Manager & Chair of G-2 Affairs Working Group at World Order Lab. He is currently a Master of Science (Strategic Studies) Student and Research Assistant with the Future Issues and Technology (FIT) Research Cluster at S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He is also an Emerging Leaders Fellow (Non-Resident) at FACTS Asia.
Geo holds Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs Management from the School of International Studies, Universiti Utara Malaysia, and is an alumnus of Anti-Corruption Spring School at the International Anti-Corruption Academy. He received Intelligence Analysis training from a U.S.-based organization.
He previously worked as a Policy & Advocacy Intern at American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia (2026), a Research Intern with Regional Security Architecture Programme at RSIS (2025 - 2026), a Cadet Researcher at Asian Institute of International Affairs and Diplomacy (2025), a Research Intern with Malaysia Program at FACTS Asia (2024 - 2025), an Editorial Contributor to Asia-in-Review and Research Intern on Peace & Security at German-Southeast Asian Center of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance (2024 - 2025), and Political Section Intern at Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in the Philippines (2023).
Geo’s research interests focus on Southeast Asia's domestic politics and regional security affairs. His analyses have appeared in East Asia Forum, 9DASHLINE, Australian Outlook, Eurasia Review, Pacific Forum, and Geopolitical Monitor, among others.
