Aqila Adilah

Aqila Adilah is Analyst with the Middle East & North Africa Desk at World Order Lab. She is currently Undergraduate Student in International Relations at Faculty of Social Sciences, International Islamic University Islamabad in Pakistan.
Aqila brings hands-on experience in both research and diplomacy to her role. In the summer of 2025, she completed a research internship with the Consortium for Asia Pacific and Eurasian Studies. She also spent 2023 to 2025 supporting political and information, social, and cultural affairs initiatives at the Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad. In 2025, she took part in an international conference backed by United Nations Pakistan.
Her analytical interests span foreign policy, Asia-Pacific regional security, human rights, global governance, political economy, and political terrorism in South Asia, with a geographic focus on the Middle East and North Africa, Pakistan, China, Indonesia, and the wider ASEAN region. Her commentaries and research have appeared on platforms including Fair Observer and Pakistan Indonesia, among others.
