[Announcement] World Order Lab Recruitment September 2026
World Order Lab is expanding and is now accepting applications for multiple remote, voluntary positions for the October 2026 – April 2027 period!
Established on April 1, 2025, World Order Lab is a youth-driven think-tank dedicated to advancing rigorous analysis and producing high-impact insights on the world’s most pressing security and governance challenges, with a particular focus on their implications for Southeast Asia. We seek to provide our members with greater opportunities to engage directly with policymakers, diplomats, academics, practitioners, and other actors shaping the global landscape and Southeast Asia’s future. World Order Lab is a strictly nonpartisan and non-profit initiative supported by individuals and institutions that value the depth and clarity of our analysis.
We are currently opening recruitment across several departments within the organization, including:
Analyst Department — contributing to research, analysis, and policy-oriented publications on regional and global affairs.
Program Department — overseeing program development, operational coordination, event management, and external engagement.
Working Group — conducting thematic research, monitoring emerging developments, and facilitating engagement with regional stakeholders.
Creative Department — producing creative production, digital content development, and visual communications.
Please note that all roles at World Order Lab are offered on a voluntary basis. Selected members are expected to contribute approximately 5 hours per week and will be appointed for an initial six-month term, from October 2026 to March 2027, with the possibility of extension subject to performance and organizational needs. The roles are primarily remote, although members may occasionally have the opportunity to participate in or represent World Order Lab at events in their respective city or country where applicable.
Upon appointment, selected members will receive an Official Business Card for professional use during their tenure and a Web Profile on our website. While upon the successful completion of the appointment period, members will also receive an official Letter of Recommendation recognizing their contributions to the organization.
Furthermore, as World Order Lab continues to grow and expand its institutional capacity, including the development of our official website, subscription-based research initiatives, and other agendas, appointed members are required to contribute a USD 10 annual membership fee (or the equivalent in local currency) to support these organizational development efforts.
