Anna Tasya Nurfitriani

Anna Tasya Nurfitriani is Analyst with the Transatlantic Desk at World Order Lab. She is a Certified Junior Secretary accredited by Indonesia’s National Professional Certification Agency.
Anna holds Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Her undergraduate thesis, "Indonesia's Cultural Diplomacy Interests Through Qatar Years of Culture 2023," explores Indonesia's use of cultural diplomacy and soft power in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting Indonesia's national image.
Anna has professional experience across government institutions, international organizations, development partners, and the private sector, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, Telkom Indonesia, Local Implementation Project in collaboration with the ASEAN Foundation, as well as Institut Français Indonésie–Embassy of France in Indonesia. Throughout these roles, her work has centered on diplomacy, policy research, foreign cooperation, stakeholder engagement, programme and project management, business development, and strategic communications.
She has supported multilateral initiatives involving Special Session adalah Indonesia-United Nations Consultative Forum, the UN 80 Shaping the future of Multilateralism, Development-8, UNESCO, and the ILO, contributing to policy briefs, analytical reports, issue papers, communiqués, and strategic documents for international conferences and diplomatic engagements. She is fluent in Indonesian and English and has professional experience working in multicultural environments involving government institutions, development partners, regional organizations, and international stakeholders.
Anna's research interests focus on transatlantic relations, global governance, multilateral diplomacy, Indo-Pacific affairs, Indonesia's foreign policy, cultural diplomacy, strategic partnerships, geopolitics, and international security. Her published research includes "After Trade War, Pandemic and Anticipation of World Recession in 2023," published in Emerald: Journal of Economics and Social Sciences, which examines China's policy responses to global economic uncertainty.
