Alfath Aziz Kurnia
Senior Program Associate, Division III (Communications)
Alfath Aziz Kurnia is Senior Program Associate with the Division III (Communications) at World Order Lab. He is currently an Undergraduate Student in International Affairs Management at School of International Studies, Universiti Utara Malaysia. He also serves as Cadet Researcher at Asian Institute of International Affairs and Diplomacy.
At World Order Lab, Alfath supports the organization’s strategic communications, internally and externally. His work focuses on translating scholarly research into accessible policy discussions while contributing to initiatives that foster dialogue on contemporary international affairs and security issues. He was previously a Content Writer at World Order Lab.
Alongside his studies, he served as a Secretariat member for the Political Science Society of Universiti Utara Malaysia (2025), a student organization under the auspices of School of International Studies, where he helped organize dialogue programs on current global issues and coordinated inter-state negotiation simulations.
Alfath’s research Interests focus on strategic and security studies, with particular attention to modern warfare, non-proliferation, and maritime security. His broader areas of interest include military innovation and modernization, border dispute settlement, and greyzone warfare. While focusing on Southeast Asia, Indonesia, and East Asia region. His analysis has appeared in Australian Outlook.
